More information about my experience with each practice:

    Tarot

I bought myself my first Tarot deck (classic RWS) in 2014 and have been Reading for myself and others for the past 11 years.

I consider myself a channel or communicator. I don't consider myself a psychic, nor do I see Tarot as a fortune-telling tool.

I believe it presents themes, as they stand at the moment of your Reading. I believe that, everything that comes up in a Reading, is something we are already aware of. It's just the themes of the Reading that highlight them for us in a new way. I find that "divination" actually can be most useful as a tool for reflection.

    Astrology

I have been studying Astrology since at least 2013, when I started following the phases of the Moon. I practice what is known as a "modern" astrology, however I also utilize some "traditional" astrology techniques in my Readings. My biggest teacher of Astrology has been daily observation of the cycles over time.

Like in Tarot, I consider myself a channel or communicator. I don't view Astrology as a belief system. I wouldn't classify myself as a skeptic, but I don't believe humans can truly know. To me, a Reading is more akin to explaining life as a story or a movie: there are themes, and characters, and a timeline, and it doesn't have to be "true" to have an impact and speak to what you are going through. Thus an Astrology Reading is like a personal movie/storyline for a particular moment in time. What Astrology teaches us is that everything is always changing.

For that reason, my Readings become much like a personalized Astrology workshop, because Astrology is the tracking of cycles, and I want you to leave the Reading with the ability to continue noticing the repetitive themes as they are happening.
